East Loddon Values the 4 Rs: Respect, Responsibility, Resilience, Relationships

…is everybody’s business @ ELP-12 College

Children/Young people/Parents/Carers/Teachers/Education Support Staff/Leadership/Governance/Council, & a core Wellbeing Support Team, are each responsible for contributing to the overall wellbeing of all participants, especially student wellbeing.

What is Student Wellbeing?

A sustainable state of positive mood/attitude/resilience. Satisfaction with self/relationships/experiences at school. When students experience ongoing challenges/distress, they may need additional support to help achieve greater wellbeing.

Many students are supported by an Individual Education Plan (IEP) of learning goals and strategies, which is developed by all relevant stakeholders during Student Support Group (SSG) meetings, designed to assist student learning and staff teaching.

Disability Inclusion Profiles are also considered for some students where evidence of additional support and modification is made. Applications are submitted to access funded support and resources in the classroom to further optimise student learning.

Whether a student is challenged cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically, or with their mental health, our caring wellbeing, leadership and whole staff team are here to assist each individual to be respectful, resilient, responsible and relatable individuals!!

Feel welcome to contact any of our wellbeing team members with any queries and suggestions via the College office
